The exhibit includes works by Robert Pfitzenmeir and Bill Fitzgibbons, both artists who worked and taught at the Visual Arts Center in the 1980s; Michael Sirl of Homer; and Paul Gardinier of Juneau.

Potter Marsh Bird Walks

Date:May 8, 2010 - Jul 31, 2010Time:8 - 10 a.m.Location:Potter Marsh More Info:www.wildlife.alaska.gov/Join us for a leisurely walk on the Potter Marsh boardwalk (mile 117 Seward Highway) to learn about the area’s bird life. This family-friendly event is for the beginning birder as well as those that know their way around a bird’s wing. Binoculars and spotting scopes are available. Walks will take place rain-or-shine, so dress accordingly. Meet your guide at the boardwalk entrance kiosk at Potter Marsh. Sponsored by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the Anchorage Audubon Society.
